Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸
It's hard to believe that 50 years have passed since the Bicentennial celebration in 1976. I was just 10 years old, and I still remember the excitement of America turning 200. There were flags everywhere, parades, fireworks, special events, and a sense of pride that seemed to bring the whole country together. At the time, it felt like a once-in-a-lifetime celebration.
Now, here we are celebrating our nation's 250th anniversary, and I can hardly believe I'm fortunate enough to witness this incredible milestone. Looking back on those memories from 1976 makes today even more meaningful. Time has a way of flying by, but the ideals that make this country special—freedom, opportunity, resilience, and the willingness of ordinary people to help one another—continue to endure.
As we celebrate America's 250th birthday, let's take a moment to appreciate those who came before us, those who serve today in our military, first responders, and communities, and everyone who works to make this nation a better place. We may not always agree on everything, but we're all part of the same American story.
Wishing everyone a safe, happy, and memorable Independence Day. Here's to 250 years of the United States of America—and to many more generations celebrating the freedoms we are privileged to enjoy. God Bless America!
