I just realized that we never did a full introduction….
We are Laura & Becca, the two sisters behind Book Bound Sisters!
We both grew up with a love of reading but as it usually does, life got in the way as we grew and reading took a back seat for a little while. A few years ago, Becca gifted Laura a copy of Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros for Christmas (mainly so she would have someone to talk book theories with and have the same amount t of emotional damage over fictional characters IYKYK) and everything has spiraled from there.
While walking through a craft and vendor show last fall, we got to talking about things we liked but wished there was more bookish themed things and the idea sparked right there. Why not do it ourselves?! We are both crafty and handy with a glue gun so let’s give it a try. That is where Book Bound Sisters began.
We are both working moms who decided to take two hobbies and put them together to have a lot of fun and maybe make a little extra money to help fund that reading habit we have formed.
All of that to say, those of you that know us personally probably saw something like this coming eventually, and those of you that are new here…welcome to the journey!
Stay tuned because we have some pretty neat things up our sleeves and a few more craft shows that we will be attending in the next couple of months!
Oh and yeah the picture is a few years old but let’s be honest, our camera rolls are filled with pictures of our kids and dogs and I’m not even sure we have any other pictures of just the two of us 😆
