🚩APPS CLOSE on our 2026 Open Call Community Spotlight September 27th!

Our 2026 Community Spotlight exhibition is now OPEN for submission 🎊 each year, HollerHouse releases an Open Call to local creators in an effort to discover new & emerging artists who aren’t already on our radar!

👍What we is looking for..
▪️ Creators 18+ who live in the Appalachian region
▪️ All traditional mediums—paintings, drawings, photography, sculpture, printmaking, embroidery, collage, and more are welcome!
▪️One to three original submissions
▪️Work you feel would work well in our space
▪️Ready to hang or be displayed
▪️Pieces up to, but no larger than, 32 inches (at highest dimension)

👎What we ain’t looking for..
▪️AI slop (used in any part of the creative process)
▪️Traced or highly inspired by another artist’s work
▪️Sketches or anything half-finished

For First Friday September 4th 🐍 we’ll be celebrating the opening of Andrew Gibbens debut solo art exhibition “Ink & Glue” from 6-8pm in the Red Room!

🎶 We’ll have a live musical performance about a half-hour in from our dear friend Maggie Ledes

🌈 This event is free and open to all! Join us for a mighty fine evening of community, music, and celebrating our neighborhood Tri-Cities artists! We’ll see yuns soon!
