The Needlework Marketplace online show for Shops is now over and new releases are pouring in as I write this. Some already sold old and we are waiting on re-stocks to arrive. With the horrible weather conditions across our country - floods, heat, and fires, it is taking a little longer or us to receive our packages by both UPS and USPS. Please order well in advance to avoid delay disappointments.

Our retail shop iIS CLOSED TODAY - September 5th, giving us a long weekend to enjoy our family and friends. Orders will be shipped on Thursday once our shop re-opens.

This month I am sharing a new release from a new designer, Crowsfeet Stitching, called Hallowe'en High (CRS001) under our What's New tab. Remember even though it has been very hot this summer, Fall is just around the corner and think about your holiday stitching. It is never too early to start. Our framing and finishing cutoff for holiday giving is November 15th. Anything received after that time will not be guaranteed to be finished or framed before the Christmas.

Our Needlework Marketplace is right around the corner. You can see many of the new releases that will be arriving in our shop in the coming weeks by looking at our NEEDLEWORK MARKETPLACE TAB on our home page. I also have been posting an array of new Mill Hill kits under our What's New tab as well as patterns from other designers who are not participating in the marketplace. Remember it is still summer and our restocks always take longer than we like to receive due to vacations, retreatsm and now with those awful storms, this only adds delays. As we always say, order well in advance to avoid any disappointments. Also - Under our Clearance tab, we have been adding an array of patterns for 1/2 price to make room for new releases. You might want to take a look there as well. With it being so hot here, I am still in my summer mode. It has been hard looking at all the Autumn, Halloween, and Christmas releases to come. I am just not ready for fall weather. I just want a nice summer day without humidity and high temps to sit outside and enjoy the flowers - it doesn't seem to be that way this year here in PA. Inside with air conditioning seems to be the norm for now.

I want to introduce some of you Merejka kits - I have attached a photo of a new kit release called The Coxy One (MK309). With your purchase they are including a FANTASTITCH DIGITAL FORMAT where you can interact highlighting parts of the pattern as you complete on your tablet or computer. Very unique idea and you can blow up the pattern as well.

I have also been posting under the Needlework Marketplace tab on our Home Page new releases from designers that are being released at the show. You can pre-order if you so choose and orders will be send after the show ends. I will continue to post all show released under this section until the show closes and products start to arrive.

Hi Facebook Friends,

It is that time of year again where we are receiving notifications of New Releases to come from the Needlework Marketplace - Augusut 22nd to 25th. I have started to post under our Needlework Marketplace tab on our Home Page. You can pre-order - all items from the show will be shipped after the show closes.

Also - we are continuing to add discontinued books and leaflets to our 50% Off Sale to make room for new releases to come. Take a look as these patterns that will not be restocked once they sell out. All patterns from The Sampler Company will no longer be stocked, and are now posted on our web site with counters that will reduce as they are sold.

For those of you who noticed a New Release from The Victoria Sampler under our What's New tab, yes we are going to carry printed leaflets and chart packs. We have a good stock of all items posted on our site - you can see them all looking under the Books by Designer tab - go the V and The Victoria Sampler is there.
Since many of the patterns were coded for Silk floss, we are now giving a conversion chart for DMC floss subsitutions when anyone purchases these charts even though we do carry the Silk flosses used. We know sometimes the price of floss can be a factor when purchasing a patterns, and these patterns are beautiful when stitched. We want to make it easier for everyone to enjoy this line of patterns.

Well enough for now - I have posted over 100 under the Needlework Marketplace tab today with more that will be added over the coming weekend.

Many things have been happening in our shop. We are still going thru our stock and putting many patterns on a 1/2 price sale. Many are posted on our site now with many more to come. We are tying to clean out to make room for new. We will be adding more fabric for our One Time Fabric tab as well.

For those o you who loved Cathy Jean patterns, well are now offering all of her patterns in leaflet or chart pack form. They are now on our site. Also, keep
watch as we will be adding all available patterns from The Victoria Sampler as well in leaflet or chart pack form. All of these patterns will include a DMC conversion chart for silk flosses used now that Accessory Packs are no longer available. We still have a few patterns with the accessory packs in stock - all are listed with counters and reduce as they sell out.
We will be adding a new release from The Victoria Sampler when we post our next What's New releases.

With so many Patriotic patterns offered this summer, I have decided to share a What's New called Cat's Flowers (LSC501) now that all the flowers are in full bloom.

For those who loved Magnifica Beads - Mill Hill has received a large shipment and all are now
re-activated on our web site, Many colors what were out of stock will be replenished as they ship our back orders.

Thank all of you for your patience - maybe other seed beads that are on back order will be arriving soon - only time will tell.

JUST A QUICK NOTE - With July 4th next Saturday, we will be opened normal hours on July 2nd and 3rd - from 12:30 to 5:00 p.m.

We will be closed on the 4th and normal hours resume on Thurs., July 9th.

In honor all the July 4th celebrations - the pattern attached is from Romy's Creations called Happy Birthday America (ROMY293) and is under our What's New section.

We are still going through our racks and adding more patterns to our 50% Off Sale - we have 4 baskets filled in our shop and delete as they are sold. We are trying to make room in our racks for new releases since our racks are stuffed to overflowing.

I am also sharing a new release from Praiseworthy Stithes called
Simple Gifts Freedom (PWS178) for the 250th Birthday celebration.

If anyone is traveling to Philadelphia, PA, the epicenter for the 250th Birthday celebrations or FIFA World Cut matches - remember we are 1/2 hour north of Phila. and would love you to stop by for a visit. Public Bus and Train service from Phila are available to reach our town as well. We are only a phone call away if you need directions.

This is just a reminder that Ye Olde Cross Stitchery will be closed this coming
Saturday, May 24th to celebrate the Memorial Weekend with family. We will be opened Thursday and Friday prior to the holiday, May 22nd and 23rd our normal hours.

We will be re-open on after the holiday normal hours:
Thursday and Friday, from 12:30 to 5 p.m.
Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3.p.m.

As stated in our newsletter , The Gentle Art has announced that several of their thread colors will be discontinued. Currently we still have stock available in-store and will remove from our site as they sell out If you’re currently working on or planning a project that uses Sampler Floss, check to make sure if any of these colors are used. If so, you might want to make a purchase for the colors needed before they run out. The arrows give you their suggested substitute for the discontinued color. We have counters on our site that will count down as the flosses are sold.
