Focus: Using ChatGPT to Enhance Your Journaling

Want to take your scrapbook journaling to the next level? Let ChatGPT help you create a custom
journaling space that coordinates beautifully with your layout!

Here’s How:
1. Create your layout and write out the journaling you would like to include.
2. Take a photo of your completed layout. This gives ChatGPT a visual reference for the colors,
patterns, theme, and overall feel of your page.
3. Open ChatGPT and paste your journaling into the chat. Then, attach the photo of your
layout.
4. Give ChatGPT your instructions. Ask it to create a journaling space in the exact size you need
and to incorporate the colors, style, and overall feel of your scrapbook layout.

For example, you could say:
“Please create a journaling space that is 4” x 4”. Use the colors and overall feel of my scrapbook
layout as inspiration for the design.”

1. Hit Enter and watch the magic evolve! ✨
2. Need a few changes? No problem! Simply tell ChatGPT what you would like to adjust. You
can ask it to change the colors, fonts, size, wording, embellishments, or any other design
element until you get the look you want.

Escape into four days of creativity, friendship, and beautiful memories at our Violet Dreams Crop, taking place August 26–29, 2026, at Timberville Church of the Brethren. Whether you're joining us for one day or the entire event, you'll enjoy plenty of dedicated crafting time with your own 6-foot table, a pack of the beautiful Violet Dreams Designer Series Paper, happies, fun surprises, and so much more! Crop hours are Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Registration is $50 for one day, $65 for two days, $80 for three days, or $95 for all four days, plus a donation of one roll of aluminum foil or one bottle of dish soap for the church. I am excited to share my finished "Something Fishy" layout featuring the Waterside Retreat collection from my Summer Joys of the Season Workshop. This layout was created to highlight the vas variety of fish that we saw at a fish market in Seattle. I chose to use the white wood grain DSP paper so that the colors of the fish would truly pop! And they certainly did! To allow for more photos to be included as well as my journaling, I opted to add (2) 3" x 4" flip flaps stacked and a 4" x 6" Flip Flap.

Who doesn't love a good Red, White and Blue? Tonight I am sharing a layout that I created that celebrates just that! My family went to Ocean City, Maryland a few weeks ago to see the Thunderbirds fly, and perform, and were treated to a special flying presentation from the French Air Force’s precision aerobatics team—the Patrouille de France. This French based team was amazing and the red, white and blue smoke in their formations was fantastic. I wanted to capture that spirit with this layout while certainly allowing the photos to speak for themselves. I chose to create a subway type title on the left edge and adorned it with mini-banners, banners I created myself with die cuts and enamel dots to pull the title together. I am absolutely delighted with how it all pulled together. And the best part, I believe that the title is versatile enough to support a wealth of patriotic photos - whether they be a parade, fireworks, or picnic!
