Some great memories popped up on my personal page today I thought Iād share. 2nd one is me carving at the Block Bash in Indiana with Bear Hollow. I was blessed enough to be invited to that awesome event 3 years in a row. I place 3rd, 1st and second there. Quite the honor! And the squatchy one is at US Open in Wisconsin for the first year I was invited to compete there. I got invited multiple times, but was only able to accept the invite and compete twice over the years. Good times for sureā¤ļø. I kinda got out of competition carving, fairs and events since covid hit and decided to focus more on my physical business since its been established for 20 some years and itās difficult to balance on the road and business life, along with multiple businessesā¦ while raising 3 kids. But things have slowed down a little bit now since Iām old, I have one less business to tend too and our kiddos are grown. So maybe next year I can add a couple more big events or competitions into the mix. Weāll seeš¤·āāļø. I miss seeing my carving friends from all over the world, but do like not traveling so much and tending to shop life too. It has always been a tough balance, but I truly have been blessed over the years being in this industry.
