Decatur Dairy partners with Organic Valley in turning their milk into Organic Muenster Cheese. Organic Valley entered one of the Decatur Teams Organic Muenster cheese made with their milk. Organic Valley's entry recieved first place in the World Dairy Expo Cheese Contest in the Havarti, Muenster and Brick class. We did not personally enter the contest, it is just not on our list. HMMMM! We strive to make everyone a good product and I cannot do it alone. A good team, good partners and vendors help keep us ticking! Congrats team. Master Steve!!

Have any of you heard of Beat Wampfler??The owner of a cheese cave with music wired to each shelf to age cheese to music. I have been in his cave and he has a story!! I wasn't alive when the tonic sales guys were traveling around town to town selling tonic. It kinda has that feel. Mozart. AC/DC. Beatles. Elvis. I guess cheese luvs to age to music!! Now I tasted his cheese. Some smeared. Some Hard Mountain Cheese. Most were really good!! It's Switzerland. I like their cheeses. Especially with some age!! It's an amazing cave. Cheese looks great on the shelf's. I was also in the Gourmino aging bunkers, a bazillion wheels in this mountain system. I asked if they played music to age their cheese. They didn't smile at first!! At first! They shook their heads. Not believers!! No, I do not have music in my coolers. But he has some data?? His story is interesting. There was no mold any where that I saw with all the humidity. Does the sonic waves and slight vibration on the shelves were the small speakers are mounted have an effect?? I walked out of there, "What did I just experience?" Definitely a sales guy!! I bought a couple of pounds. Have a great day!! Master Steve!!

We ran into a snag putting in a new fan hood for the grilled cheese grill! We are trying to get better ventilation!! Our grill will be down today! Sorry for the inconvenience.
