What can you do with literal scraps of paper?

A simple card made with freebies from Unity Stamp Company — with every purchase, you receive ephemera from them. I had some pieces lying on my desk — and just finished some cards and had leftover scraps of patterned papers. I cut them into half-inch strips and adhered them to a card front mat. To my surprise, both the papers and the tag and sentiment have the same shiny coating on the paper! I couldn’t plan this myself.

Cheers! Here are four new masculine (or not!) whiskey-themed cards, covering snarky, birthday, and just because. I colored the Unity Stamp Company stamps with watercolor color pencils and used brown distressed and wood patterned papers. I think they will sell out! Do you agree? 🤞🏻

Whether you are a Coastal or Caribbean kinda girl, everyone loves the waves that hit the shore. I made three different cards using the same die-cut — the rolling waves, a viral waves die-cut (although there are many designs out there) — using sentiments like Happy Birthday, Hope Anchors the Soul, and a perfect, written-in-the-sand quote about love.

Which one would you send? Deep blues or turquoise waters?

Oh baby! I'm fully stocked on baby cards now!

I had a lot of fun with these baby shoe die-cuts, and cut some from glittered paper and others in white card stock and tied the laces with white twine. I also used an assortment of different patterned papers on the card fronts, so each card is a little different, a part of what makes my cards for sale unique.

I'm still in baby-making mode — oops, I mean making baby greeting cards. I adore these die-cut baby shoes, even though it’s a lot of work to tie them all! Stay tuned for the completed baby cards!

It’s a boy! in nontraditional, darker "baby" colors: teal, turquoise, orange, yellow, and green — no pastels here! I love the bright striped pattern and the matching fun topsy-turvy animals on the papers. I used a new die-cut for the sentiment — and the stitching in the words and how the glitter paper makes it pop.

It’s a gurl! Pretty in pink with green, yellow, lavender, and turquoise. Just a sweet card for someone's baby girl.

I had fun using watercolor pencils and a water brush on my new mermaid stamp and coordinating die cut. I added a rhinestone to her hair and glued the stamped image onto glittery paper. I also stamped a happy birthday sentiment cut out on nesting flag banners. I made the same card in teal too. I think it is the perfect birthday card for a young girl somewhere!
