UPDATE: Thank you everyone for sharing. I have the info I need. Could not have found it without you.

Angels' Attic needs your help. We found a wallet in a box of donated clothes today. Inside are active credit cards and a Social Security card. The expired driver's license has the name Maya Brown-Jackson. If you know her ar her family, please have them contact me at 601-320-3554. The wallet is locked up until the owner is found. Must show ID that matches the photo on the driver's license.

To those participating in or shopping at the various community (Vernondale Neighboorhood and also East Lincoln Road 16 Mile Yard Sale) and individual yard sales this weekend, please let the people setting up tables know that Angels' Attic can take their leftover wares. Even though the store closes at 2:00 on Saturday, Anita and I will be available until 4:00 to take your donations. Happy Shopping!!

Due to the very high numbers of new cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi this week, Angels' Attic will be closed again starting Saturday, June 27th, until further notice. Many of our customers and staff are within the vulnerable population so we are being extra cautious of their wellbeing.

Thank you so much for your patronage during the month of June when we reopened. However, until this virus is more under control, we will be closed. Please stay home as much as possible and wear a mask when you do need to go out for essentials.

Thank you for your understanding. Your health and safety are important to us.

At last, Angels' Attic is reopening this Thursday, June 4th at 8:00 a.m. The store will operate during our regular hours this week: Thursday and Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. We have missed our loyal customers and are looking forward to seeing you again.

We will be operating under new rules for the time being. They are as follows:

1. No more than 10 people inside at a time. This includes staff and volunteers. We are expecting to have 3 staff so only 7 customers at any one time. Please wait patiently for your turn to enter.

2. Shopping time is limited to 30 minutes as long as other customers are waiting outside in line. Please be ready to check out when your time is up.

3. Everyone MUST wear a mask to enter the store. If you do not have on a mask, you will NOT be allowed inside to shop.

4. Customers must maintain 6-ft distancing as recommended by the CDC.

5. No children will be allowed inside. We cannot sanitize the toys in the kids' room after each child. We do not have the staff or other resources for that. So, for the safety and well-being of your children please do not bring them to the store.

6. Neither the bathroom nor the dressing room will be available to customers.

7. Hand sanitizer will be available for use by the staff and customers.

8. The counter will be wiped down as frequently as possible.

We may need to add to or subtract from these rules as circumstances dictate. Please be a good citizen and respect our desire to both serve our community and to keep all of you safe and healthy.

Angels' Attic will again be open until 6:00 p.m. tomorrow, Friday, October 11th. A SURPRISE SALE on household items will be in effect Friday ONLY. All household items will be 1/2 price!

In addition, all Halloween items, including costumes, are half-price.

I know this message is a bit late but we have had some issues accessing this page.

A huge thank-you to the Brookhaven Police Department for promptly responding and working so diligently to investigate and apprehend the person who robbed our shop in the wee hours of September 12th. The staff of Angels' Attic -- Anita, Shelley, and Elaine -- are real troupers and had us opened back up as quickly as possible. Our volunteer cashiers for the day, Pat and Sherry, went the extra mile to take care of our customers so efficiently without a working cash register. To our loyal customers, we love you for your continued support of our shop on that trying day and thank you for making our shop so successful. No one was harmed and what was lost is replaceable and for this we are truly thankful.
