There are new arrivals, as well as brand new books being added to the shelves (yes, that definitely includes Dungeon Crawler Carl). Updated or expanded sections include kids books, comics, as well as current reads and recommendations.

We also expanded new merch and gift inventory (bookends, book nooks, book boxes, book lights, bookmarks, notebook, journals, art sets, colored pencils, wax seal kits, stickers, washi tape and more)

Forecastle Books and Art Gallery proudly presents a mixed media show called "Flights" featuring photography by Elisa Raney and paintings by lifelong artist Chelle Hanna.

Elisa is a native of Newport News, VA. and a graduate of the Rocky Mountain School of Photography in Missoula, MT. She gifts us with photographs depicting the essence of flight!

Chelle has lived in the Brookings area for many years and has a BFA from the University of Buffalo. She uses an array of media to spectacularly illustrate local birds in their natural habitat.

Both artists plan to be present. We will serve smoked fish, w**e, and coffee.
