Hillside Prairie Gardens

Hillside Prairie Gardens Authentic food for our local community. Dak. Our small, diverse family farm rests on a hillside overlooking the Sioux River and surrounding wetlands.

**note** updated 2020 -- We are currently on hiatus from selling via CSA or farmer's market **

Hillside Prairie Gardens is a certified organic market, whole sale vegetable and garlic producer on the very eastern edge of So. In our deep, rich prairie soil, we grow a wide range of fruits and vegetables using sustainable, 'beyond organic' methods, and focusing on heirloom varieties that give us taste, color, and history. In the 30 years we have been here, we have never submitted the land to any harsh chemicals, pesticides, or herbicides, or used synthetic fertilizers of any kind.
