I realized this morning how rare it is to just let my mind wander without a screen or a voice in my ear. Lately, even my “relaxing” hobbies come with a side of multitasking. But today, the garden demanded my full attention.There’s something incredibly grounding about feeling the soft leaves against your hands, listening to the birds, and just watching the wind move through the blooms. I won this darling little mug from the Brookings-Harbor Garden Club last year at the Azalea Flower Show. It’s a beautiful piece of memorabilia from that day and a great reminder to nurture my friendships just as I do my flowers —with joy and love.
