In Remembrance of Matt McGhee
Today marks one year since we lost someone who was so much more than a co-owner and colleague. He was a friend, a mentor, and a truly unforgettable person.
He was incredibly smart, always funny, genuinely caring, and the kind of person who never met a stranger. He had a way of making people feel welcome, whether you had known him for years or had just met him five minutes ago. And as a salesman, he was one of the best—you simply couldn’t teach the kind of natural ability, personality, and connection he had with people.
Of course, you couldn’t talk about him for long without mentioning his beloved GSU Eagles. He loved his Eagles and was always proud to cheer them on.
A year later, his absence is still felt—not only in the business, but in the everyday moments, conversations, laughs, and memories that remind us just how special he was.
We are incredibly grateful to have known Matt, worked alongside him, and called him a friend. His impact on this company and on the people who knew him will never be forgotten.
One year later, we remember him, we miss him, and we celebrate the incredible person he was. 🦅💙
