You never know what will happen when Jane’s in town!

Meet Andy, one of our favorite visitors to the Brooklin stop of our author event with Jane Goodrich!

Here’s a fun story for you! Years ago, Andy paid a visit to Swan’s Island in search of Jane and the original home of Saturn Press (yes, THAT Saturn Press!). Jane had just completed a run of covers for a reprint of her first book, THE HOUSE AT LOBSTER COVE. With a handful of misprints kicking around the workshop, Andy was gifted one. For a fan of the book AND the craft of letterpress itself, he couldn’t imagine his luck!

Fast forward a few years and not only did Andy come up to our World HQ from Gardiner, he brought the now framed cover! Jane added an inscription to mark the occasion!

Thank you to everyone who enjoyed today’s event with Jane. Whether you came for THE SERAPH or THE HOUSE AT LOBSTER COVE, it was a delight to see you!

Libby Edwardson is an author and artist who has called many places home. She grew up in Iowa, but has been a cabaret singer in Dublin, a dog walker in NYC, and driven a bookmobile through the hills and hollers of Eastern Kentucky.
