Today’s the day! We are delighted to host the exclusive debut of Jane Goodrich’s newest novel, THE SERAPH! A story of seances, suffragettes, and spirits, the tale is based on the real life of 19th century psychic medium and trance lecturer Cora Hatch.

Jane gives a talk at 4pm across the road at Friend Memorial Public Library. After the talk, we’ll be back at Leaf & Anna’s World HQ for a reception and book signing. This is an afternoon not to be missed!

In advance of the public release of Jane Goodrich’s second novel “The Seraph,” we are hosting an exclusive event including an author talk, book signing, and reception tomorrow (Friday!) in Brooklin.

Jane Goodrich, author of “The House at Lobster Cove,” premieres her second novel to the Blue Hill peninsula three days in advance of its worldwide availability.

Jane will give a talk and presentation at Friend Memorial Public Library beginning at 4 pm. The book signing and reception will take place at our world headquarters immediately following. We are so honored to host Jane and hope you’ll join us!

Congratulations to seniors who graduated from Bucksport, Ellsworth, and Sumner last night, and seniors about to graduate from Deer Isle-Stonington and John Bapst this Sunday! But wait, there’s more! Our friends at George Stevens and Harbor School will have their moments next weekend!!!

While today technically isn’t the day we hoisted the Open Flag at our World HQ in Brooklin for the first time, it IS the day we shift to EVERYDAY HOURS in BROOKLIN for the year!

That’s right, the Open Flag now flies 10a-5p, daily through the end of 2026!

Our Blue Hill location will continue with its Almost Everyday™️ schedule of 10a-5p, Monday-Saturday.
