Saunders began devoting her time and efforts by volunteering with a local family support service agency, she saw the rewards of giving back to the women in the community who were experiencing transition and challenges in their lives. Episcopal Community Services, (ECS-RFS) Ready for Success Program is a Faith-based agency that provides low-income women with gently-used professional clothing, accessories and new personal care items suitable for job interviews and the workplace. READY FOR SUCCESS IS A PROGRAM OF EPISCOPAL COMMUNITY SERVICES
Georgia’s Girl Handbags, LLC was created as homage to Paulette’s mom, “Georgia”, who passed away in 2008. As a child, Paulette remembered her mom always carrying small handled handbags. This memory of the handbags was the driving force and creation of the logo. The experience of volunteering with ECS, along with her mom’s love of handbags motivated Paulette to make a commitment to giving back new handbags to ECS-RFS initially for 1 year in honor of “Georgia”. Georgia’s Girl Handbags, LLC is a retail handbag company that provides beautiful, high quality handbags at affordable prices and no item is priced above $75. Paulette considers her company as a “ministry in support of another ministry”, impacting the lives of women. Her vision statement: Strengthening Confidence in Women “One Fabulous handbag at a time”. Paulette believes that she has a calling to minister to women by giving back, utilizing Georgia’s Girl Handbags, LLC to do so. She is driven and committed to meeting the needs of women who are experiencing a difficult time in their lives. We want shoppers who visit the “Georgia’s Girl” site to know that when you purchase our products you enable the confidence and strength of a Mother, Sister or Daughter. We donate a percentage of our product to the ECS-RFS program as sales are generated. Each handbag that a client recieves contains an inspirational message: Matthew 19:26 “With man this is impossible but with God all things are possible”.
