Well, New York state is ending its Alcohol to Go exception for bars - which means that we will have to retire our bottle shop. It's a particularly harsh measure, when this one of things that kept us going throughout the pandemic, and we were counting on it to get back on our feet.

Things are stirring up and it looks like Barbès will have live music again starting on April 10th.
Details coming up early next week, but this is the most exciting ting to happen in a year. Musicians in 3D playing for live people (masked and seated, of course..)

In the meantime... we are still relying on the Barbes Bottle Shop for whatever little income we can get... It's a wager - and like Blaise Pascal's wager, not one based on reason, but here's hoping.
We promise to provide a well curated list of wine, liquor and beer, mostly culled from small independent producers who believe in non-industrial artisanal methods - and priced competitively (not restaurant prices...)
