This was FUN.

From watching my daughter's expression when she took her photo's to recreating the updated version.

Its not Knitting, but similar. It's not crochet but similar.

It's called Knooking.

I thought I found something when I started Tunisian Crochet, but this is different. I immediately had to order the hooks to start working on something, anything lol.

Fall is on the way, and calling for cozy blankets and pumpkin spice. 🎃🍂

This one is headed to Florida so lightweight was a must, while still keeping it cozy.

To get that airy feel - I went up 3× the recommended hook size, and worked extra long lacey stitches to create plenty of breathing room without losing that cozy feel.

These lap blankets are just a tad smaller than a traditional throw, but still big enough to curl up and get comfy.

Put this lap blanket down 4 years ago and finally finished the last panel. So happy that she's off to her new home.

The cables were fun & frustrating, now on to the next one.

Picking up this lap blanket after 4 years and happy that I did. A simple crochet border to finish it off before washing and mailing it off (because its never to late to gift it 😉)
