Bex Frankeberger’s debut—kind of a play, kind of a novel—filters Antigone through q***r theory and contemporary philosophy, bringing us uncannily close to the perennial nature of power and hubris. Against both, it jolts us to recognize that principled defiance is still the most potent, and timeless, of antidotes.

You are cordially invited to join Antigone at the Rot Party.

Congratulations Bex, we are so proud of you and we are so excited to celebrate your debut with you. Keep an eye out for event details for Bex’s event and PREORDER NOW THROUGH THE LINK IN OUR BIO!!!!!!!

Across the country, schools and libraries are facing rising attempts at book bans, censorship, and political challenges. Here at Books Are Magic, we believe everyone deserves the freedom to read. This year to celebrate Banned Books Week, we are putting free copies of select banned books in our Free Little Library all week long, while supplies last!

You can also fight for the freedom to read by donating to our Banned Books Distribution Network. Click the link in our bio to donate today!

*Please note while Smith St will be closed for a film shoot from Monday to Wednesday, the free library should be accessible, but might have limited access at certain times of the day*
