Hey everyone! I hope everyone is staying safe out there. I’ll apologize now for the long post 😱 I’ve made the tough decision to take off my crochet hat for a little bit and have picked up a sewing machine 😬 Everyday I just hear so many heart breaking stories of people not having enough supplies and it simply breaks my heart. Until this happen I never realized truly how many friends I have in the medical field. Either in a hospital, clinic or assisted living facilities. The number shocked me and my heart ached knowing they don’t have what they need. So, with that said I have joined in on making homemade masks for those who need them. This will be an interesting adventure for me as I have NEVER used a sewing machine in my life, but I’m ready for the challenge . I hope we can make it past this soon and can get back to our normal lives... Stay Safe everyone! 💗 @ Brooklyn, Ohio

perfect beanie for my baseball loving heart! I absolutely LOVE it! Thank you The color changes came out perfect... Will definitely be wearing it to ALOT of Indians games since it still likes to snow in April 😂 I may have teared up a bit when I saw those crochet hooks 🥺 I had my eyes on them but neither of the Joanns near me has them in stock. I am so excited by the amount of times this has popped up along my feed! So many AMAZING makers are participating so far and I can’t wait to see who I get paired with. (Ashley 😊) did such a great job pairing everyone and putting everything together last year there is no doubt this year will be just as fun. I would highly recommend anyone who’s see this gives it a shot. 1.) You get to make a new friend in the maker community 2.) For $5 you get an awesome new beanie that you get to brag about and make all your friends jealous and 3.) Who doesn’t love to help adorable animals?? All monies collected from the swap are being donated to all the babies in Australia effected by the wildfires.
