our beloved mending class series is back this chilly season with local artist, andrea herrada!

take the time to prepare your lovely sweaters, socks, blankets, and more for the coming winter by learning various mending skills like how to sew a patch, darn a hole in your sock, or add decorative stitches to reinforce a worn area!

remember: the power of repair begins with your very own hands! let this be a moment to both empower and express yourself through mending the things you love.

Realize your dark academia dreams and discover the wonders of drawing in pen and ink

In this beginner-friendly class, you will learn how to handle and care for nib pens, create striking black & white line drawings with India ink, and fall in love with an art form that remains popular over the centuries.

Now used primarily by comic artists, pen drawing has been around for millennia evolving from reed pens in ancient Egypt to the modern day ball point.

India ink remains popular since its invention in ancient times due to its versatility, light-fastness and water resistance, making it perfect for beginners and advanced users alike.

1️⃣ Foundations I teaches you how to woodwork with hand tools — zero experience required. Learn to saw, plane, chisel and make a hardwood shelf by hand.

2️⃣ Foundations II teaches you how to design and build — prep stock and joinery using the table saw and miter saw, then assemble and finish a custom storage bench
