My name is Bard and I recently joined Talebearer after a serendipitous visit to the store. I have spent a lifetime reading, teaching, and working with education professionals to sharpen college and career readiness in students of all ages. I read broadly and while I have my favorites (history, geography, and fiction), I also enjoy taking journeys in uncharted or rarely visited territory. I have many favorite authors to include Winston Churchill and Mary Beard, Jill LePore and Niall Ferguson, Joan Didion and David Sedaris, Octavia Butler and Stephen King. Come for a visit on Thursdays and let's talk about our next book!
