A personal note from Dave, Founder of Uncommon Goods: As the son, brother, and husband of feminists, Gloria Steinem’s death hit close to home — especially since my wife had the opportunity to work with her over the years. I had the good fortune to meet with Gloria in her home a few years ago and we talked about a number of important issues, including Paid Family Leave (which New York now has, though the country as a whole still doesn’t). She did so much for women, and for men as well.
