How I Build a Freestanding Balloon Garland 🎈🦖

Watch this dinosaur-themed freestanding balloon garland come together! Here’s the balloon formula I used:

🎈 6 × 12” balloons • deflated to 8” in each color
🎈 2 clusters of 5 × 12” • deflated to 8”
🎈 1 × 16” • deflated to 12”
🎈 2 more clusters of 6 × 12” • deflated to 8”
🔥 Finished with 3 foil balloons • T-Rex + fire & some 5”

Balloons by Kalisan : Black Standard, Orange Standard, Retro Eucalyptus & Macaron Blue.

Balloon Decorator Tip: How to Attach Foil Balloons to a Balloon Garland 🎈

One of my favorite tricks for attaching foil balloons to latex balloon garlands is heavy-duty self-adhesive stickers!

If the sticker doesn’t hold well on the foil surface, I lightly clean that exact spot with professional acetone, let it fully evaporate, and then apply the adhesive.

Simple trick, much better hold 🙌 Save this balloon decorating tip for your next installation!
