I wanted to share close up pics of some of the goodies in the new space at Washed & Worn in Port Richey. We will be adding goodies continually including more seasonal Fall decor. And don’t blink, it will be time to decorate with Christmas and winter before we know it! Stop by the shop on Rt 19 for in person shopping (this place is amazing)! This post has nothing to do with stitching but I wanted to share it anyway! A friend sent me a link of these being made (thanks Barbara Commeau for the video) and I love radishes. I just had to try these refrigerator radish pickles with green onions, cumin seeds, cilantro, salt, sugar, vinegar and water. I will be anxious to try them tomorrow! But will mostly let them set for a few more days before digging in! Aren’t they pretty!

My love of old crocks and pottery inspired the stitch along block for the September design. I have loved every month this year but this has to be my favorite! Patterns and kits are on the website! Enjoy and happy stitching!

When a block doesn’t work, no matter how much I try, there is nothing to do but pull it from the design and start again! The pics X’d out were just not working in the stitch along quilt so I went back to the sketch book and came up with a replacement that I am so excited about! I will be revealing it for the October block. And it is almost September which means another one is about to drop!!

I wanted to show the fabrics and some snippets of the next three months for our 2026 Stitch Along, Country Living. I have totally enjoyed every block! September - November will be applique blocks and December will have the finishing kit. I am amazed that the year has flown by so fast! Patterns and kits are always available on the website, even for the past months. Each works up as a stand alone piece as well. www.attic-heirlooms.com.

I took a brief detour this morning. Waking up with less than 4 hours sleep gave me some early morning thinking time. I was searching my work/play room for embellishments for the current pumpkin patch residents and came across some things I had been gathering for some Christmas ornaments. Inspirations struck and I had to do a mock up before it got away.
