Interesting details regarding the mid creek takeout from a renter:
What was a big surprise was the the strainer below the takeout was so substantial that people were jumping off a cliff in to the pool that is has formed below the takeout. The strainer has basicallly stopped the rapid below for the time being so if you were to miss the takeout, you'd go down a steep rapid into a giant swimming pool. However, I wouldn't want to risk hanging out in that pool as if that strainer ever breaks up, there will be a monster sweeping rapid there which would be very dangerous.

From a renter who got off the South Fork of the Flathead on 7/6:
Water was relatively high (~4500 cfs) compared to what it had been due to the recent rain. Upper part of Young’s Creek had quite a few jams. The didn’t run Young’s gorge but those that did said it was clear. South fork itself was totally clear up till the after the take out (just after the takeout is the well known log jam leading into meadow gorge). There was one class 3 about 0.5 miles up from the take out that was considerably bigger than anything else we saw but it runs into a big pool to cleanup if you flip.

Spoke with a renter who just got off the middle fork of the flathead over the weekend. Sounds like flows were perfect. There was one split in the canyon with wood on the side the main current wants to take you (river left I believe) below cy creek but it sounds like you can see it ahead of time and get across to the better side.
