After much thought and prayer, we are merging our RC Designs business with Thicket Legacy Apparel. Aesthetically, things will look different- but our designs will still reflect our Christian values, our love for the outdoors, and our simple way of life!

Today, we hold close the words of Jesus in John 15:13 as we reflect on Memorial Day:

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

May we pause and remember the brave men and woman who gave their lives for our country.

Let us pray for the families who carry the weight of loss. May God comfort them with His peace and wrap them in His presence. And may we never take for granted the freedoms we enjoy—choosing to use them for good, to serve others, and to glorify Him.

Lord, help us be people who remember well, love deeply, and live gratefully.

The rest Jesus offers in his kingdom means freedom from the extra burdens the Pharisees and teachers of the law implemented in their day and the additional rules we try to add onto our faith today.

Humble people can be free from a “try harder, do more” religion. To find rest, people must throw off the yoke of burdens and legalism.

If you have been devastated by sin, drained of joy by rule keeping, or crushed by persecution or oppression, this rest is for you. Jesus gives love, peace, and healing now- and one day eternal life and joyful unity with him. 🤎
