Marvel Super Heroes is here! Boosters, collector boxes, commander decks and with more coming next week!

The prerelease event us tonight starting at 5:30! If you are participating, try to make it in a little beforehand so you can settle in!

Tomorrow Swap at the Shop is back! Collectors and resellers, bring your goodies! We also have a sale: buy something from our vendors at the Swap and get 25 percent off your purchase in the store!

And Sunday, we are still going to be attempting to run a smaller prerelease event for the new MTG set. If you'd like to join, let us know!

Good morning everyone and welcome to another New Comic Book Day! It's shaping up to be a busy week at the local comic shop, so let's dive right into it:

Friday, we have the prerelease for Marvel Super Heroes. We are currently close to full but walk ins are always encouraged incase a seat opens up! The event will start at 5:30, so try to get in a little before that to settle in.

Saturday: Swap at the Shop is BACK! Starting at 11 am, bring your collections in to the back room and trade/sell/buy with each other or with the public. Tables are FREE and coming in to check it out is also free! Some of our local collectors have sole absolute heat stored away, so let's hope we get to see some of it this week.

Sunday: we will be trying to fire off a 2nd prerelease event starting at 1PM for the Marvel Super Heroes set but it is Father's Day so we are not sure what kind of attendance we will have. But we will give it the ole college try, even if it's a smaller group!

And last but not least.... all the goodies on the shelf this week for New Comic Book Day! Absoulte Batman and Green Arrow are here anf waiting for you to scoop them up. Shelves are full and all ready to go!

Also: if you havent seen it already, come on down and check out our gorgeous, functional Xmen arcade cabinet! Its 25 cents to play and 25 cents more to recharge with more lives. Come plaaaaay .... we may eventually do a monthly best score tourney with prizes. We'll see!

Good morning everyone! Its another hot, sunny day here for New Comic Book Day and we have a great lineup of books for everyone to pick up today! Another Absolute title has entered the frey... Absolute Catwoman! This should be another big one from DC. We also have plenty of copies of Avengers Armageddon that has the promo card for the new MTG set coming out for pre release next week, Marvel Super Heroes! There's also tons of indies to pick from this week too.

Signups for our pre release event next Friday for Marvel Super Heroes is still going! If you want to reserve a spot, let us know.

And dont forget, the Swap at the Shop is back next Saturday, the 20th! Bring your books, bring your collections, bring your monies... we should see some nice books here at the shop that day! Tell your friends...

We have a couple of things cooking behind the scenes that hopefully we'll be talking about with you all soon. Some exciting stuff is happening! ( fingers crossed ).

Good morning fellow nerds and what a gorgeous day to come down and check out New Comic Book Wednesday here at the local comic shop! There's quite a few " oh, got to have it " issues and covers this week, so make sure to get down here! We also have some new toys, like that awesome Dr Doom statue I took a pic of. Love it!

So yes, Swap At The Shop is back Saturday the 20th! Bring your collections and buy/sell/trade with fellow collectors or the public! That night before however, we will be hosting a Marvel Super Heroes prerelease party for the new MTG, and signups have started! If you want a spot, message me or come in and let us know before hand to reserve a seat. It should be a lot of fun!

We have been getting a good amount of comic book trading cards and I'm excited to be going tru it all! Be on the lookout for that display case to start getting very full soon!

It is a sweltering New Comic Book Day Wednesday but never fear... its nice and cool in our store so if you need to get away from the heat for a little while, stop on in!

We are LOADED up this week. Absolute Green Arrow is here and it has already presold faster than Absolute Batman #1 so if you missed out on the craziness of when AbBat came out, dont do it again with this book. This one is gearing up to be another massive hit for DC!

We'll be getting a lot of restocks of magic ( and some pokemon ) product starting today and another round tomorrow, so keep your eyes peeled on our TCGA shelves for new stuff!

It is also 100 percent a " grabmilkshake " kind of day, so make sure to check out the newest store in Brunswick, Half Pint Giant! 🍦

We have a lot to do today, so I'm going to go back to it. Doors will be opening soon and we'll be here until 7PM tonight! Thank you everyone and have a most excellent New Comic Book Day!
