These custom rods are headed to the 2026 Kids Can Fish Running of the Bulls Charity Redfish Tournament Surf Redfish Tournament as youth prizes!

Each rod features its own unique combination of custom grips, wraps, and finishes. No two are alike, and each was built with the same attention to detail and craftsmanship that goes into every Bandit Custom Rods build.

A quick update from Bandit Custom Rods

Unfortunately, I’m going to have to hit pause on taking new rod orders for a little while.

I recently detached my bicep from my elbow and will be having surgery to get everything reattached and back where it belongs. Needless to say, building custom rods one-handed isn’t exactly in the cards.

For those of you who currently have rods on order with me, I appreciate your patience and understanding while I recover. I’ll be reaching out as needed with updates.

I’m not going anywhere — this is just a temporary setback. As soon as I’m healed up and able to get back in the shop, Bandit Custom Rods will be back at it.

Thank you to everyone who has supported BCR, trusted me with your builds, and continues to support this little business of mine. It means more than you know.

I’ll keep everyone posted on when I’m able to start accepting new orders again.

Two customs headed up north. 🎣

Built on Rainshadow two-piece blanks for easy travel without giving up the feel and performance you want on the water. Two completely different looks, both built from the ground up by Bandit Custom Rods.

Built in Brunswick, GA. Headed north to get put to work.

A little more progress on this custom build. 🎣

Custom grips are glued up and ready to be shaped on the wrapper. I also inlaid the butt with the Bandit logo and sealed it under epoxy for a clean, custom finish.

It’s the small details that make a custom rod custom. More to come on this one.
