Three things that never show up on a scale and cost you for years. A bad udder means that your helping that calf nurse. Bad feet ends in a cripple . And a wild one costs you every single time you handle her, and she passes all of these problems on. You ain't got time for that. Poke your head in there and make a list of cull cows and no-go list of heifers out of these moms.

When you look up the definition of positive energy you should find Bella’s picture. She is the energy behind Cattleman’s Resource and she keeps us all on our toes and moving forward. Most of the time you’ll find Bella chuteside capturing your data, giving shots, mixing vaccine, mouthing cows, testing bulls and she’s dang good at all of it. Bella has taken true ownership in her roles at CRI both chuteside and helping customers. Don’t blink or you’ll miss her.

The sky was clear that morning. Nobody expected what came next.

In under two hours, we lost 2,977 people. Firefighters ran into buildings everyone else was running out of. First responders didn't think twice. Passengers on Flight 93 fought back so it couldn't be used as a weapon. Regular people, just getting to work, never made it home.

Twenty five years have passed. That doesn't make it any less real. Take a moment today. Remember the ones who ran toward it. Remember the ones we lost. Never forget.

There's only so much grass out there and it doesn't care about your plans. A big cow that eats a lot and weans a small calf is losing you money every year she stays. She might look impressive in the corral but what percentage of her body weight is she weaning? Most people have never seen those numbers for their own herd.
