The basement is almost done!

Good morning! 🌞

The days and weeks are flying by so fast.
I’m still working on that basement project….
So today I’ll be at home emptying the trailer of our prepped/ homesteading/ country living hoard.

It’s Fabric season and we know people are waiting on us to fill this trailer with those great fabric deals!

But so far the pantry part of the basement DONE! It sounds so REDICULOUS but that was a 20 hour project. One can, one jar at a time. 😮‍💨

Remember Trashcan Carl? He’s that cute little cat who decided to hang around.
We made friends, the farm excepted him, ( Leo is still questioning) He has learned the layout of the land.
HE ALSO LEARNED HOW TO SNUGGLE IN THE BED!
we had Carl fixed, tested, and vaccinated by Norther Door Pets. Then he came home it only took a day and he moved right in😍🐈😹

A day filled with fibery fun! My friends from Arachne spinners of Door county and I had a great day at Heritage Hill.

Come out this Saturday from 9 a.m to 4 p.m. for Textile Arts Day at Heritage Hill!

This interactive event brings history and fabric craft together. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to get hands-on with raw fibers, check out various models of historic spinning wheels and learn directly from regional textile experts.

Tickets can be purchased at the door on the day of the event. Reminder: Heritage Hill members receive FREE admission!

Sweet peas were sleeping in the weeds together.

Yesterday we took sprout to the vet. Turns out he has Lyme disease. Even though he gets his monthly flea and tick treatment! We also are diligent on vaccinations for lepto/ Lyme. I guess you never know.
We are also waiting just to make sure those swollen lymph nodes aren’t something even more serious. But if it’s lymes it’s an easy antibiotic treatment that I have personally experienced. He will be just fine💕🐕
