Can you believe it’s been 1 year already?! This past year has been full of fun, learning curves, excitement, and wonder. Raven Books opened on September 1st, 2025 with four shelves and less than 100 books. Since then we’ve expanded to a dedicated room, added a Romantasy section, and a used book section! It hasn’t always been easy, but it has definitely been worth it!

With that being said, come celebrate our 1 year anniversary with us on Saturday, 9/5! The entire store will be 10% off, we’ll have giveaways, food and drink, and 30% off select books!

I want to give a special shout out to Nan's Blossom Shop for making my dream come true. Without y’all, this wouldn’t have happened!

Looking for other ways to support your local indie bookstore? Bookshop.org and Libro.fm are both excellent ways to do that! Through bookshop.org, you can order new books and e-books and support us! With Libro.fm, you can purchase audiobooks and support independent bookstores instead of corporations like Amazon. On each website you can select a local indie bookstore to support with each purchase. Every little bit helps keep our dream going!

We are looking to restock our used book section again! Need to get rid of some of your used books? Bring them in for store credit!

Here’s a few things to know:
- All books are subject to review and acceptance at Raven Books discretion
- We reserve the right to decline any book for any reason
- We are only accepting the genres listed on the flyer
- Books must be gently used and in readable condition
- Acceptance is based on current inventory needs. We may decline books we already have in stock
- Store credit in the form of a gift card is the only form of payment being offered. No cash will be offered.
- Store Credit is limited to $25 per person
