We’re so sorry to everyone we told we’d be open today.

Unfortunately, by the time it was time to open, we simply didn’t have anywhere for our staff to park—much less our customers. By 7:30 this morning, the parking lot was already full of parked cars.

While we’re disappointed we couldn’t open our doors today, it’s actually a wonderful problem for our little town to have! It means Bryson City is filled with visitors enjoying all the fantastic Fourth of July festivities.

If you’re downtown today, please get out and support all of the amazing local vendors, businesses, and organizations that have worked so hard to make this celebration special.

We appreciate your understanding and hope everyone has a safe, fun, and Happy Fourth of July! 🇺🇸

🐾 Volunteers Needed – Make a Difference in Your Community! 🐾

We are looking for caring, dependable volunteers to help support our animal shelter and thrift store! Whether you love working with animals or enjoy helping customers and organizing donations, we have a place for you.

At the animal shelter, volunteers are needed to help care for the animals by walking dogs, socializing cats, cleaning, feeding, and giving our pets the love and attention they deserve while they wait for their forever homes.

At the thrift store, we are looking for volunteers who can help run the register, bring in and sort donations, organize merchandise, and put items out on the sales floor. Every task helps support the shelter and keeps the store running smoothly.

Volunteering is a great way to give back to the community, meet new people, learn new skills, and make a real difference in the lives of animals and families in need. Your time and kindness can have a lasting impact.
