There’s just something about autumn in the Blue Ridge Mountains…

Slow mornings with a warm cup of coffee + that first day it’s finally cool enough to pull out your favorite sweater. ☕️

Those are just a few of the little moments we had in mind when creating this year’s Fall Collection — and it’s officially LIVE!

We’ve brought back the scents you wait for every year + added a few new favorites to the lineup! Think:

Yes, we know. It’s currently 96 degrees outside here in the Blue Ridge Mountains! 🥵

But we’re choosing to ignore that minor detail because The Fall Collection is dropping THIS FRIDAY + we just couldn’t wait to introduce a brand new scent to you!

Meet Flannel + Coffee ☕️🧡

Warm, cozy, + made for slow fall mornings! This one smells just like your favorite pumpkin spice latte enjoyed while wrapped up in your favorite flannel. 🤎

Now we realize Mother Nature is currently giving us August: The Sequel 🥵 But we’re pretty sure if we light enough fall-scented candles, eventually she’ll get the hint. 🍁🎃

Well hello, September! 🍂

We blinked + somehow summer turned into September!

This summer has been filled with pouring candles, packing wholesale orders, adding some wonderful new shops to our stockist family, keeping our local shelves stocked + getting ready for our favorite season of the year.

And somewhere in between all of that, we’ve been soaking up summer with our family + taking life a little slower when we needed to.

But now the shelves are filling with lots of amber jars, the workshop is starting to smell like apples + pumpkins + all things cozy, and fall at North Mountain is officially here! 🍁

We have so much to share with you — including our newly moved + restocked booth at Black Dog Salvage, some exciting wholesale updates, + of course the biggest news:

It’s beginning to look a lot like fall - even if it’s still July! 🍂

Over 250lbs of candle supplies arrived at the shop this week + that can only mean one thing: it’s officially time to start pouring for our busiest season of the year! 🤩

The shelves are about to be filled with all your favorite fall fragrances + immediately followed by all the festive holiday scents! It’s hard to believe we’re already at this point in the year, but we’re so excited for everything that’s ahead! 🎃🎄

But this one, it’s BIG! We’re SO proud to announce that you can now find North Mountain Candle Co. products at the Virginia Museum of History & Culture gift shop in Richmond! 🤯

As a Virginia based small business, this is one of those moments that is incredibly special to us. To have our products represented in a place that celebrates the history, culture, + story of our home state is SUCH an honor! ♥️

Happy Mother’s Day weekend! 💟

We’re slowing down to soak in the good stuff like family dinners, campfire convos, extra hugs, + being fully present with the people who matter most.

We’re signing off socials for the weekend to enjoy some much needed family time + we hope you’re able to do the same!
