To all of my paper-obsessed sisters who have gently asked if I would ever consider organizing all the scrapbook paper...this is for you!!!
I am officially camped out on the floor of the shop separating my first of about 100 piles of cardstock, regular weight and even two-sided 12x12 paper... I won't promise that it will get any further than this but can I at least get an A for effort? Ooh...and speaking of the letter A....can we talk about how adorable that Artichoke paper is? So far I've only found two sheets but I am obsessed!
If you need me Ill be down here hanging out with all my new paper friends!

Happy Saturday lovelies! Do you think you have enough whimsy in your life? Honestly, I needed a bit more. So a few weeks ago I asked my ten year old self what sort of magic and whimsy SHE would like to experiment with and a few hours later I had several of these "Unicorn Glam" bracelets made.
I love them so much that I even put a few of them out around the shop to sell.
All but one of them have sold, but do you want to know the best part? Two of them were purchased by a lovely young lady for she and friend but the others...are you ready for this? All purchased by fabulous ladies around my age (the truly magical mid-fifties) for themselves!!!
And do you want to know why?
Because there isnt a soul on the planet who cant benefit from a little whimsical Unicorn Glam (yep, I named it) but sometimes its all so serious and heavy that I think we might forget.
Nudge, nudge, tap, tap...
This is your gentle nudge...get yourself a little whimsy...whatever that might look like for you!
I'm doing my part here at the Cottage.
I set up this little DIY Unicorn Glam bar for clients that are coming later today but I was thinking it should stay.
So if you need a little whimsical Unicorn Glam in your life, (I'm absolutely talking to you) the DIY Unicorn Glam bar will be here for the foreseeable future...

Happy Thursday lovelies! Woke up feeling like I need a little creative "I wonder" time this week so whenever I got a free moment I've been playing with paint...and bubble wrap and stencils and markers (oh my) to make my own collage papers.
And then today I thought; ya know what...I think it should be a "bring your 'I wonder' to work" sort of a day! So I packed up some paint, did a little table arranging and poof...treating myself to a magical, creative "I wonder" day here at the shop!
Pop in and say hello! Rumor has it you need some crafty supplies...yes...you!

Ok...Im putting all pride aside and bringing you down to the recesses of the Cottage. Most of what we put down here are things like old school styrofoam and acrylic beads as well as anything else that wont take on the personality of a basement that was carved out in 1947.
I came down here to look for boxes of vintage pipe cleaners that I thought may have wound up misplaced. Instead I got completely side-tracked as usual...but I found more crafty treasure..
And by the way...if those vintage Santa heads look familiar its because a few months ago I shared a video of the 2 inch version...lol... They might be multiplying...
