BIG OOPS!
Last week, to my chagrin, I failed to acknowledge a business that’s very close to my heart. Sugar Creek Marina celebrated 31 years in business under the successful ownership and management of the Clark family.
Sugar Creek Marina and, specifically, William Clark have spent years being the heart and backbone of the Sugar Creek community and a great asset to Lake Oconee. With William at the helm the marina surpassed just being a business many years ago. The community, patrons (local residents/weekend visitors/vacationers), fishermen, tournament directors and countless others have discovered that Sugar Creek Marina not only provides a fully stocked marina/clothing/grocery/bait & tackle store, a delicious deli, safe and efficient boat storage and an exemplary boat maintenance & repair service department … they also provide fair and honest treatment, simply put, just plain old good customer service, something that is missing more and more these days. Some of us are blessed, too, that we found lifelong friendships there.
Congratulations and Happy Anniversary (a little late), Sugar Creek Marina!
