🎶 Why Music Together®?

It might look like we’re just singing, dancing and playing instruments, but there’s so much learning happening underneath all that play. 💛

Children are experiencing different rhythms and tonalities, finding the beat, experimenting with their voices and bodies, and learning how to make music by watching the grownups they love make music too.

And there’s no pressure to perform or even participate in a certain way. Babies can watch. Toddlers can wander. Preschoolers can jump right in. They’re all learning.

Best of all, the music comes home with you, into the car, bath time, bedtime and spontaneous kitchen dance parties. 🎵

That’s one of my favorite things about Music Together: we’re not teaching children to perform music. We’re helping them grow up making music. 🥁💛

Come sing, dance, and play with Music Together with Ms. Maria on Monday, July 20, at 1:30 pm! Children birth to age 5 get to shake instruments, move to the beat, and make music with their grown-ups. It's a fun way to explore sounds, giggles and songs together!

Similar to our storytimes, tickets are required to enter this program and are available 30 minutes before program time. Please pick up your ticket at the front desk.

I’m so excited to see families joining our short summer Music Together session in Kyle 💛

Mini Berry is a gentle 4-week session that’s perfect for:
✨ Trying classes for the first time
✨ Summer fun with your little one
✨ Families wanting a shorter commitment
✨ Current families needing make-up classes

We’ll sing, move, play instruments, and make music together in a relaxed mixed-age class for children 0–5 with their grown-up.

Some highlights from the past few weeks 💛

A brother and sister duo have been so sweet and excited to be in class. I see them smiling, closely watching what we’re doing, and soaking everything in. During our goodbye ritual song, little brother kept giving hugs to Mom, to sister, and to me. I love seeing children express themselves so freely and feel that comfortable in our music community.

In another class, Avi recently turned one, and I looked over to see him tapping the beat along with the music 🎶

And Marshall, who spent the last few semesters mostly sitting with Mom and observing, has started joining in with the other children playing. It’s been so special watching his confidence grow over time.

These little moments may seem small, but they’re the heart of Music Together®️ connection, confidence, participation, and joyful musical growth happening naturally through play and community 💚

For the past 2 years, I’ve been teaching Music Together with Ms. Maria in Buda and Kyle 💛
Watching classes grow, friendships form, and little ones find their voices has been the sweetest journey.

And now… I’m so excited to be bringing classes to San Marcos 🎶
If you’ve been looking for something meaningful to do with your little one, this is a space where you can slow down, connect, and just enjoy making music together.
