Powdered tea goes way beyond matcha. 🍵

I loved discovering 品 PIN THÉ SAVOR｜台灣磨茶專賣 in Taipei, where Taiwanese whole leaf teas are ground into fine powder and reimagined in a completely different format.

Since we also carry oolong tea powder at Mountain Tea, it was especially exciting to see a concept built around something that’s still rarely seen in U.S. cafés.

So much room for this category to grow!

Taipei keeps showing me how many different ways Taiwanese tea can be experienced!

Wangtea Lab x 有記 is one of the most interesting examples I’ve found - a modern concept from the century-old tea company 有記名茶 Wangtea 有記名茶, built around experimenting with roasting, blending, and different ways of brewing tea.

I especially love that the experimentation never takes the focus away from the tea itself.

Definitely one to add to your Taipei tea list!

This might be one of my favorite tea spaces I’ve visited in Taipei so far. 🍵

I loved how spacious and relaxed it felt - the kind of place where you can settle in, have a full meal, and actually spend a few hours rather than just stop in for a drink.

One Tea One Tile 一茶一瓦 does such a good job of making tea feel modern while still staying connected to Taiwanese tea culture.

A little day trip from Taipei for anyone who loves ceramics!

Yingge Ceramics Old Street is one of Taiwan’s best known pottery districts, filled with everything from teaware and handmade cups to plates, bowls, and modern ceramics.

I came looking for teaware inspiration and ended up wanting half the tableware too!

It’s also much easier to get to now thanks to the new Sanying MRT Line (三鶯線), making Yingge a really convenient day trip from Taipei.

Such a fun place to browse if you’re into tea, design, or tableware!

Taipei has no shortage of amazing tea spots, so I’m checking out as many as I can while I’m here!

One of my favorite things about being back in Taiwan is seeing how tea culture continues to evolve.

First up: MUSHIN NOSHIN 無心之心 - a modern tea house where you choose a mood card to help guide your tea selection.
