Crazy how time can change you!!! I used to love sitting on top of big buildings at night looking at the city lights, and for a long time now, I prefer sitting on top of mountain peaks🌃🏞
After college I was a crazy shopper living in the lower east side with a fashion internship. Very exciting but big city living isn’t for me anymore. I used to spend so much money on crap at forever 21 type stores it’s crazy👚👗👡

After watching the documentary ‘True Cost’ last night it opened my eyes even more to how much we over-purchase, the poor quality of nonorganic clothing and it’s impact on the environment, and the people in other countries suffering with low wages and terrible work conditions. The price of clothing has been decreasing for decades while the human and environmental costs have grown dramatically. Fashion is the worlds second most polluting industry after oil. Garment workers are among some of the lowest paid workers in the world, 85% of them being women.

We should support sustainable brands like Patagonia, REI brands, Stella McCartney, People Tree, Wild Deed☺️, and many more, and we should shop smarter--buy only what you need and wear a long time....
