Claire and Dawn are Buffalo and WNY's figure skating experts! Dawn brings a mother's touch to fittings and dress selections.

Trained by master technicians, Claire grew up on the ice and is now sharing her boot and blade knowledge with all skaters. Living the skating lifestyle since 1998! Claire and Dawn are the only figure skating experts in Buffalo and WNY who have a skater's perspective on boots, blades, and everything that glitters. Claire skated through middle school, high school, and college, passing her Senior Gold MIF and competing at Synchro Nationals twice. Dawn always supported Claire's figure skating dreams and when Claire moved to save the local skate store in 2017, Dawn was right beside her. Training under master technicians, and furthering their education directly through the skate craftsmen themselves, Claire and Dawn offer skate fittings, precision skate sharpening, boot and blade mounting, comfort adjustments, hockey profiling (rocker radiusing), and skating apparel for practice, testing, and competition.

❌ Just because the weather is cooling down doesn't mean we can slack on our skate care!

Red arrows are pointing to water marks that are lucky they DIDN'T turn into rust 🙈

Drying skates well at the rink AND at home is the best way to keep blades in good skating shape!

Using fresh, fluffy soakers and a dry towel helps too 😉

Marks like this are usually an easy treatment at your next sharpening with us! More severe than this... we'll talk 💜
