** TWO WEEKS FROM TODAY! **

We're excited to welcome author & activist Rashad Robinson to Buffalo on Wednesday, October 7 for a series of engaging, thought-provoking conversations about power, presence & campaigns like the Freedom to Read movement.

Robinson led civil rights organization Color Of Change for nearly fourteen years and now co-chairs the steering committee of the Committee for the First Amendment, first formed in 1947 to defend free expression.

Join us for a FREE, public conversation with Robinson on Wed., Oct. 7 at 6 PM at Central Library. Registration is required: https://buffalolib.libcal.com/event/17507210

Then, join us as the conversation continues at a place where workers turned presence into power. Join Robinson and fellow attendees at Duende at Silo City for an evening at one of Buffalo's most unique community spaces, and the site of the 1899 labor strike that broke the saloon boss system.

Tickets required; purchase in advance. 21+
