Greek traditions, family, and authentic, artisan flavors made right here at the Broadway Market.

Back in 2022, Mel Giokas opened That Greek Guy Bakery & Pastry Shop to bring a taste of his home, Erythrai, a village outside of Athens, Greece, to Buffalo. Every week, him and his son Alexander hand make pita bread, hand-rolled spanakopita, and other Greek favorites for us right here.

“What makes Greek baking so special is that it takes the simplest ingredients—flour, olive oil, honey, nuts—and transforms them into something extraordinary”

You can find That Greek Guy at the Market for production hours Tuesday – Friday 10:00 am – 4:00 pm, and retail Saturdays 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.
