DUAL FUEL vs. ALL-GAS RANGE 🔥⚡ | Which luxury range is right for your kitchen?
One of the questions I get all the time when helping clients choose a luxury range:
“Should I do all-gas or dual fuel?”
The short answer? It depends on how you cook.
🔥 ALL-GAS RANGE
Gas burners + gas oven
⚡ DUAL FUEL RANGE
Gas burners + electric oven
A dual fuel range is especially popular with clients who love the control and responsiveness of a gas cooktop but want the precision and consistency of an electric oven for baking, roasting, breads and pastries.
An all-gas range gives you that traditional professional cooking experience from the cooktop to the oven and it is typically less expensive than the comparable dual-fuel model.
That price difference is worth considering when you’re building a luxury kitchen. Sometimes spending less on the range allows you to put that money toward a better refrigerator, ventilation, cabinetry or another appliance.
And yes…brands like Wolf, Thermador, Monogram, Café, Viking and KitchenAid all have different options worth considering.
The prettiest range isn’t always the right range for you.
The right choice comes down to how you cook, what you bake, your kitchen design and where you want to invest your appliance budget.
