Hi everyone! It’s Sam! I know we have been a little quiet and everyone is anxious to know about a Spring event so here is some info…
We need help! We need another person to partner with us and help us continue to be able to hold markets .
At this moment Heather is out for an undisclosed amount of time…this market is her baby and it is killing her to not be a part of it at the moment but due to unforeseen extreme circumstances not made public yet she is not able to make any commitments. Her and her family could use a lot of good energy and prayers sent their way while they deal with everything going on…please be respectful and give her the privacy she needs until she is ready to share what she needs to share.
Please know that I am one person and between a wedding, a new grand baby on the way and other obligations the market is too much for me to handle alone…if I can get a few more members on board we would love to continue having them. This market is so good for our community, our small shops and the charities we donate to.

Hi everyone!! It’s Market Week!!! Can’t wait to see everyone and their beautiful work!!
Few reminders:
As of now we have over 50 confirmed vendors!! Please make sure to have your own tent, table and chairs! Remember if you need bigger than a 10x10 or 12x12 you will need to pay for two spots! All vendor fees are donated to the park! Payments due at front gate day of market!
Setup will be from 8am-9:30 am…we will stop through traffic at 9:45 to prepare for customers and to make sure we keep everyone safe.
Spots will be on a first come basis…we are not choosing spots for anyone so setup where ever you like.
Please bring one small item for the raffle basket…we will be collecting toys for tots and raffle off a basket of goodies from the vendors…everyone who brings a toy gets a ticket!
Please don’t forget change if taking cash…if taking other payment types it’s often helpful to printout those QR code’s or info so customers can pay!
REMEMBER I AM SOLO ON THIS MARKET…I think Donna is trying to help make a vendor list for me just to be able to check y’all off so please comment below with the name of your business(or your name) so that she can make a spread sheet for me. Any questions feel free to message me!

Hey everyone!! We are one week away from the market!! Make sure if you are interested in being a vendor you get your information in to us!
Set up time will be 8am-9:30am ….please bring your own tent, table, and chairs. We would like for each vendor to donate one small item or gift card towards your store to put in a basket to raffle off to a customer…we will be having a table for toys for tots and every person who donates a toy will be entered into the raffle(vendors can also participate in this raffle if they bring a toy) you may keep your vehicle next to your booth as long as it is not parked on the road it has to be behind or to the side. All traffic will be stopped in the park at 9:30 am so that we can be prepared for customers…for safety issues we can not allow traffic in once customers start showing up. We look forward to seeing all of your beautiful creations(and shopping)!

Hey Yall!
We are still accepting vendors for the upcoming market in Jesuit Bend. If you have messaged us and not received an answer, PLEASE be patient as Samantha Wall Rojas is running this one completely solo. Also if you have any questions or are interested in becoming a vendor please message Sam via the market page. My house was destroyed during Ida and I have a long recovery/reconstruction road still ahead of me. Samantha is sorting through hundreds of messages and organizing the details all by herself daily. I promise you that she is overwhelmed to say the least. Please keep in mind that we are simply volunteers to the community.

Hey everyone!! This is the “official” sign up for the November 13th market!! Please help share and get as many vendors possible for our holiday market!! We will also once again host a toy drive…details to come later! $10 booth rental and all proceeds go to help with refurbishing the park!

Hey everyone!!! We did decide on a date and just wanted to give y’all a heads up amongst all of this craziness we are dealing with!! Our Jesuit Bend Holiday Market is scheduled for November 13th…10-4…we will have more info to follow…STAY TUNED!! Feel free to message or comment if you plan to attend!!

November 20th weekend before Thanksgiving
November 27th weekend after Thanksgiving

All interested vendors... please contact us on facebook messenger directly through the Bayou Lagniappe Market's page. Donna Mina will assist you with any questions/concerns you may have and will confirm all interested vendors through messenger. Vendor fee is $10 and all fees will be donated to the Buras Fire Dept. We also ask that each vendor bring an item of their choice to be donated for a raffle held by the Buras Fire Dept. All Vendors need to be on location before 9am as the road will be closed AT 9am to ALL VEHICLES. Please be patient with us as we all have jobs, kids, family to deal with as well as planning this huge event and many many messages daily... we are volunteers and appreciate your patience & kindness and we promise to answer everyone asap.
