DIY Activated Charcoal Pore Cleansing Mask 🌑
Benefits:
✨ Draws Out Impurities: Activated charcoal acts like a magnet, pulling dirt, oil, and toxins from deep within your pores.
🔍 Minimizes Pores: By deep-cleansing the pores, this mask helps them appear smaller and more refined.
💧 Balances Oily Skin: The charcoal and clay help to absorb excess sebum, leaving your skin with a smooth, matte finish.
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon activated charcoal powder
1 tablespoon bentonite clay (or green clay)
1-2 tablespoons rose water (or filtered water)
Instructions:
In a non-metallic bowl, combine the activated charcoal powder and bentonite clay.
Gradually add the rose water (or filtered water), stirring with a wooden or plastic spoon until a smooth paste forms. Avoid using a metal spoon.
Apply the mask in a thin, even layer to a clean, dry face, avoiding the delicate eye area.
Leave the mask on for 10-15 minutes, or until it has completely dried.
Rinse off thoroughly with warm water, using gentle, circular motions. Pat dry.
Tips:
Bentonite clay reacts to metal, so always use a non-metallic bowl and spoon to mix your mask.
Due to its powerful detoxifying properties, use this mask only once a week to avoid over-drying your skin.
Always follow up with a good moisturizer to rehydrate your skin after using the mask.

🍋 Lemon & Sugar Brightening Scrub 🍯
Benefits:
✨ Exfoliates & Brightens: Sugar granules gently slough away dead skin cells, while lemon juice helps to brighten the skin.
💧 Hydrates: The natural glycerin in honey attracts moisture, leaving your skin feeling soft and supple.
🌱 Evens Skin Tone: Regular exfoliation can help reduce the appearance of dark spots and hyperpigmentation.
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1/2 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon honey
Instructions:
In a small bowl, mix the sugar, lemon juice, and honey until a paste-like consistency is formed.
Gently apply the scrub to your clean, damp face, using light circular motions. Avoid the delicate eye area.
Massage for 1-2 minutes.
Rinse your face thoroughly with warm water and pat dry.
Tips:
Do not use this scrub if you have sensitive skin, as the lemon can be irritating.
Always apply a moisturizer and sunscreen after using this scrub, as lemon can make your skin more sensitive to the sun.
Use this remedy once every two weeks.
