Come join us as we celebrate the Queen of Heaven, Mother to the Crown of Spirit, specifically, Asherah, the silenced Mother Goddess of the Semitic religions. Though she has Canaanite origins, even most Pagans of today know little of her. Beyond her supremacy, her story is alas the story of all women within the Semitic, Christian, & Muslim religious dominated societies of the past thousand plus years. Even today in the 21st century, women are being silenced, disempowered, disenfranchised, and disrespected. They are expected to be the invisible workhorse upon which the patriarchal society can build its abusive society!

Our Pagan men are not part of this patriarchy, and they do not endorse it in any way! Pagan men stand by the Goddess and all women as equals, as it should always have been. And as these Patriarchal men are trying to bring back their perverse values of time best left buried, we need to not be silenced but rather stand firm and clear with all women’s rights.

To that end, we turn our faces to the silenced and mostly forgotten Goddess Asherah. She was the Queen of Heaven, the Mother Goddess of the Semitic lines, who sat beside Baal, El, and Yahweh. She was represented by the Axis Mundi, the World Tree, often simplified as an Axis Pole, known as an Asherah Pole. But the patriarchal temples cut down her poles, destroyed her artifacts, and silenced her presence. Was she another name for the Tree that Odin hung on? Was she the Cross that the Venus Crown of Spirit was hung on? Held in our hearts when we didn’t even know it, she has tried to return, but the patriarchy finds ways to use her while silencing her identity.

Last year we did work to help her rise back to her proper place as Queen of Heaven, and this year and every year we will continue that work!

Love Vision Quest
May 22nd 8pm
In person and on Zoom

With the Month kicking off with Beltane, initiating a season of Love, Fecundity and Life, we are moved to venture back into this part of our lives and reality, which seems so fraught and tested in these turbulent times. This left us thinking about how to approach this, which of the many Goddesses of Love should we encounter. But what I got in response to this question was a hard push to wade into this whole subject more as a Love Working, within the format of the Vision Quest. So this month we are going to present a Visionary Quest into the Spiritual Realm of Love.



In this working we will be exploring the many facets of the Love Realm. The romantic Love, of course. Whether you are looking for Love in your life, or to strengthen the Love within your relationship or relationships that you already hold. To resolve or at least find clarity about Love Ancestral Curses. To look at how Love plays a part within the platonic relationships with family members, and close friends and loved ones. How Love is central to living and working within your Life. The Art of Living as well as the Arte of Magic & Witchcraft! Love plays a much larger part of your life than you may realize.

Join Raven's Cry Grove for a celebration of summer as we honor the Greek God Helios.

Join Raven's Cry Grove for a celebration of Summer on June 20, 2026 at 8PM at The Green Man Store.

This joyous occasion will bring the valiant sun into our midst. Helios rides his flaming chariot across the sky, driving the sun from dawn until dusk. Helios is the Greek God who knows and sees all. We have nothing to hide before the strength of the light!

The ritual will be held at The Green Man Store in Burbank. A potluck will follow the ritual. Feel free to bring a dish to share! Arrive at 7:30PM for an 8PM start time. Seating will be available. We suggest a $15 donation for attendance but none will be turned away. Tickets are available on The Green Man's website or cash, Zelle, or PayPal is accepted at the door.
