Putting on your hard hat / thinking cap, working outside the box, being open to fresh ideas and putting the resources towards expanding your audience.
The evolution of Hobbywood from late 2025 through May of 2026 is jarring as there are only a few ideas that we instituted day one that exist today.
Like I've said recently, marketing and technology will be our big drivers for the second half of the year and we've delivered on that with higher quality posts on IG, the functionality and sheer amount of inventory on Burbankcards.com, a fully immersive app in the Apple Store that gives you the full Burbank Experience at your finger tips as well a high quality podcast with Jeff Garlin and we're far from done.
Physically, we're grappling with 2700 board feet in the showroom not being enough and having to make tough decisions on what to expand, what to contract and what to eliminate. These are not choices that we're making, these are choices that you've shown us through your shopping preferences and revenue through square and cubic feet.
Taking big swings, having a laser focus on the consumer experience whether it's physical or virtual, providing unmatched liquidity with a full time in house buying team all add up to a collector experience unlike any other and we're still only 15 months into Hobbywood.
Stay tuned, the best is yet to come.
