Deuteronomy 31:6
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."
Deuteronomy 31:6 is a powerful reminder that true strength and courage do not come from our own abilities, but from the presence and promises of God.
When Moses spoke this to Israel, they were about to face strong enemies and an uncertain future without him. “Be strong and courageous” means to stand firm and choose boldness even when you feel afraid. God knew the challenges ahead, but He told them not to let fear control them because He would go with them.
His promise to never leave or forsake them meant they would never face anything alone. For us today, this verse is a reminder that no matter what we’re up against whether it’s a problem, fear, challenge, or diagnoses God is always with us, giving us the courage to move forward!
