We regret to inform you that we will not be getting trees again this year. Because of the shortage, the prices have gone up and we don't feel like we can pass that increase on to our customers. We will try again next year. Wish us luck! We hope you have a Merry Christmas even though you won't have one of our trees. 😉

We will try again next year!

Early December is normally the busiest time of the year for Christmas tree lot owner Kelly Kunzer, who owns and operates Kunzler's Christmas Trees located in Burley. He prefers to sell Noble trees during the holiday season, but due to this years tree shortage his lot is empty and he has no trees to....

Obtaining Christmas trees to sell has been a big challenge for the past several years.

The Noble trees that we sell take about 10 years to grow from a seedling to a consumer ready Christmas tree. Eight to twelve years ago there were several years of over supply and thus, very low tree prices. Many tree growers went out of business and others replanted to other crops.

Now we are on the other end of that cycle and there aren’t enough trees to go around. The price that we pay for trees has tripled since our first year 8 years ago. Trees are hard to find at any price.

On Wednesday November 27 we were informed by our tree supplier of the past 4 years that he is 1000 trees short of meeting his commitments in spite of deposits paid clear last spring and commitments made. He told us that at the moment he has no trees for us.

Lesser quality trees like Douglas and Grand Firs are available but we have chosen to stick with our commitment of providing only the highest quality trees for our customers.

We are still looking and are following a couple of leads but as of yet, we have no trees bought. We have a possibility of some trees for Tuesday of next week. We may not have anymore news until Monday pm or Tuesday am.

We appreciate our customers from past years. We still hope to be able to provide you with a great tree for this year. We haven’t given up on this yet.

KMVT News came out and interviewed us last week. Maybe some of you saw it on the 10:00 news last Saturday.

The report shows 27.4 million real Christmas trees were purchased compare to only 21.1 million fake trees.
