Thank you so much to fellow of for nominating me for Meet A Mompreneur Monday!

For those of you who do not know me, my name is Laurena & I am the owner of a crafting business named for my 4 yr old daughter Amelia & 2 yr old son Jackson.

I’ve always been a crafter and about 13 years ago started making jewelry and “Pinterest crafts” and would do a couple craft fairs during the holiday seasons. In 2017 I became a SAHM when Amelia was born and in 2019 I got a cricut machine and began Amelia Jackson gifts. What started as making wine glasses and onesies has grown into bags, paper flower canvases, paint kits, etc. crafting has always helped keep me sane & let me have “me” time but now my hobby has become my hustle and I LOVE it!

During the holiday season of 2020 I, like many other crafters, was missing craft fairs (and let’s be real, the extra $$ for holiday shopping) and decided to start the Made In Burlington page which connected crafters in my town with people in the area looking for handmade items. This page has grown more than I could have imagined! It has had such amazing support from our community, and I’ve been able to make so many SO new friends including & Abigail from . We had a very successful in person outdoor marketplace in July and I’m looking forward to more events and opportunities in the future!

I would like to nominate Abigail from . She is one of the MIB crafters and an incredible who has instilled her creativity in her daughters who are her creative partners in . Definitely check out their beautiful products!

I got an Etsy order with a request to customize the colors of one of my favorite onesies. In chatting with the customer I learned that her husband is meeting their 4 month old daughter for the first time on Friday because he’s been unable to meet do to being stuck out of the country. I LOVED this story and the appropriateness of the onesie and decided to send a little extra gift! Can’t wait to see the pictures! 🥰
