Quarterstaff Games We host regular game nights, special events, and open play. The retail space on the second floor was created as a bar and operated under the name B.T.

Quarterstaff Games is Vermont's premier gaming store specializing in board games, role playing games, miniature games, hobby crafts, and collectable card games. Situated directly across from City Hall on Church Street in downtown Burlington, Quarterstaff Games is Vermont's largest and oldest gaming store, and one of the largest in New England. McGuire's for a number of years before Quarterstaff Games came into being. The medieval tavern atmosphere of the premises have been maintained and augmented – torches line the walls above bookcases, exposed brick provides rustic texture behind the iron-bound counter, and the warm glow from wooden banisters and arches retrieved from churches create a cozy nook where gamers from all over have been escaping from the cold, cruel world of reality for 25 years. Quarterstaff Games specializes in collectible card games like Magic: The Gathering, tabletop miniature wargames like Warhammer and Warmachine, board games like Settlers of Catan and many other Euro-style games, and role playing games like Pathfinder. Various gaming related accessories are always in stock such as a huge selection of Chessex dice, top brands of card sleeves and boxes, and a large hobby section with Vallejo and P3 paint as well as modelling tools.

Tomorrow night at Q we’ll be celebrating with an official Magic: The Gathering Pride commander event!

For this FNM, all legendary creatures have partner. Y’shtola + Bumbleflower? Edgar + Krenko? Pantlaza + Mothman?? We ship it all 😤

We’ll have some special prizes for the most creative decks, so go CRAZY. Plus we’ve got these beautiful Gilded Lotus promos to hand out to every attendee!
